More Deliveries for Homebound Residents

Thursday, July 7, 2022, 1pm-5pm, Homebound Delivery/Youth Services

I spent the first half of my shift today with Sal doing homebound deliveries. Today we dropped of one delivery to an individual that is temporarily homebound, and then we did a large delivery to an assisted living facility. This is the facility with the largest population of patrons. Sal has sixteen people he regularly delivers to, and we added three more patrons. Ther facility has a library, and the residents come into the space to exchange It was a pleasure talking to the residents about their reading interests.

The afternoon at the reference desk was quite busy today. There were several patrons who needed reader's advisory. From YA books requests to books about fungi to graphic novels, there was a big range of needs today.
